Crowns and Bridges

Crowns, commonly referred as caps is a treatment option to restore aesthetics and function of the tooth.  Crowns are usually considered when less conservative restorations does not provide adequate means to restore broken teeth or large fillings.  A custom crown can be fabricated from various materials including porcelain and precious metals to produce a natural appearing tooth that is extremely strong and durable.

A bridge serves the need to replace one or more missing teeth.  Bridges are fixed restorative treatments that can restore previously extracted teeth while providing an alternative solution to removable partials, flippers, or implants.  A bridge also serve to help maintain natural teeth alignment by helping to prevent surround teeth from migrating into the empty space and potentially causing further malocclusion problems.
